Brenda came home yesterday from the hospital, Pip and me were so pleased to see her, but she has to keep her foot up all the time, they have said it could take 18 months before she can put her full weight on it.
John has cooked two horrible meals up to now. Brenda pulled her face, then she is asking for drinks and telling him what to do.
John said he is going to ring the hospital to see if they will take her back.

Pip will not move in case Brenda goes away again, John said you could see that plaster thing from a mile away.
Brenda said to thank all of you for asking about her, and wishing her well.

Oh dear, poor Brenda! Well she will just need to have lots of rest and John will need to phone for some take away food if his cooking doesnt improve.
We have returned a day early from Skye. We had some sun, mostly rain, gale force winds, hailstones and finally snow!
Cute though our wee cottage was it had no central heating and our parents are getting on a bit now. They were worried about pneumonia!!
So Brenda look on the bright side........

oh my, just catching up with all this, I am really sorry poor Brenda has so been in the wars.

wishing her a good recovery, think I said in an earlier post, I dislocated my ankle four years ago, but that was here in Scotland, and the treatment I received was excellent from the NHS,.

This looks really bad, mine was painful enough, but this must be terrible for you. Sorry, you obviously know it is terrible, but I cannot believe how awful it looks.

I hope you are soon on the road to recovery. Ask for more drinks to be delivered to you and less home cooked John food!
