Oooo. This looks all too familiar, 'cept I can't place the blame on my sissie quite yet. Do you have a Reconstruction Center anywhere nearby?
We're sad for Katie's original owner and hope he recovers quickly and well. it's difficult to imagine him not being about to be reunited with Katie, but we're glad she was able to find a new home that can care for her. We're sure the decisions were well thought out.

It was nice to read about Katie finding a loving home.
We are sorry to hear her owner is still in hospital and hope he recovers soon.
