We are now at the Lakes and they must
have known I was comming they had
put flags out for me.

This is Hawkshead where Betrix Potter bought
a farm here and at 47 married a William Heelis
a local solicitor.
On her death she left 4,000 acres of land to the
National Trust.

Guess what we found bet you could not (a pub).

We have a great walk only there are white
and some black sheep and lambs all over.

Pip thought I was behind him, it was a lamb
he got a big shock.

He ran back past me he said I could lead,

He is even waiting for John daft dog.

Hi Bobby!

Looks like you and Pip are it for now. You will have to get along good, won't you?

The first picture with the plants and the flags is very beautiful. I love all the greenery.

Kisses,
Stella

That's so funny about the mistaken lamb! It was still a nice place to walk though.

Have a great weekend.

The Lakes looks like a lovely place, so green and clean. Too funny about Pip and the lamb. We cannot believe you can just run freenwhere the lambs are. We must say we don't think we would behave very well.

Looks like your Pip had a haircut, too. How cute that he was scared by a little lamb!

I am so pleased you are having a good holiday, and visiting pubs Bobby. I think you are right that Pip is a daft dog, afterall, he goes in the water which is really daft, I don't like getting my feet wet or walking in the rain. I am well settled here now and know exactly how to get my own way, and go to mum for lots of cuddles

We do think the Lake District is so very pretty. We can see why Beatrix Potter lived there.
Our human brother is in Keswick with his house on wheels this weekend so perhaps you might bump into him - especially in the pubs!!!
Enjoy

ah Hawkshead, my J visited there years ago, and the flags were out then too, so perhaps they were for her as well.

Your photos are lovely, especially the sheep ones!!

My J liked the pub one best though, I have no idea why.........
