To day a Lady called Claire sent an e-mail my smiley face is for her.

Dear Grumpy Bobby,

I wanted to write to you because I think you are such a special wee chap .

We lost our dog on Christmas eve and I have sent you pictures because he looks just like you and was also grumpy

His name is William and he was around 10 years old, he came from a dog shelter when he was thought to be about 2 and a half. He'd already been out to a home from the same shelter and they'd taken him back - he was there for 6 months because he jumped and jumped at the kennel bars whenever people walked past. Originally he was handed in as a puppy bless him !!

Yes William is the nearest I have seen to me, even the brown at the top of his tail and I was in Kennels to, I don't know much more, We know at some point I was beaten quite often and hard.

I don't know how old I am, but I guess about 10 so could William have been my real furbody brother, I would so like to think so, even though sadly he has gone over the bridge. I feel I did have family after all. The picture above is my look for sure, Yes I am sure William was my Brother. Thank you Claire.

Eric Hippy Pip is there look behind you, we think he is on wacky backy or something, go get your mum.

Lady is going for her weigh in tomorrow so we are hoping she has lost some weight, Lady said I must have I am starving, I am a shadow of my former self. I said I don't think so.

We had a call from Hippy Pip he says he got to Eric's in the middle of the night so he will wait until they wake up, John said where have you been all this time, he said Just hanging out man smelling the flowers, making furends, don't worry man chill out.

John has asked Eric to look out for him, Eric said he would go straight out and look for him.

Lady is going to be on TV now, I told her they rang and I heard them say Lady and Lassie, Lady is distraught she has not had time to fix her hair or anything, Brenda had to whiz her out to go to meet Lassie. I think they might be on tonight.

After Hippy Pip left for Nelson Canada on Saturday, we just got word the daft dog is in London at Nelsons Column, I told him to turn right on the A1 he went left he said he got there Sunday in time to stand on a soap box and talk about love and peace, he had said dogs should be allowed on side walks. People said they are as long as they have a lead on. I said daft dog you are in the wrong place so he is heading over to Eric's to see if Eric wants to go with him. He says Eric's mam can fill the VW with kibble then they will head for Scotland. Eric's mum might have a flower power van from her hippy days. John told him if he picks up Female furbodys they would need there own Van they would not want to be in with him, he still giggles if he farts.

This, as you know is Lassie, [ Pinkey ] she is with Lady in Saturday Nights Sunderland Echo. These Two fat Lady's are twice the weight they should be. Lassie's fosterer feels she would benefit from being in a busy household as she loves children and visitors calling, she is very friendly with other dogs. She is no bother off the lead. Royal Canin are sponsoring both Lassie and Lady with their diets. Where Lassie is now, she is seeing very few people so she is not getting the stimulation she needs. She has not as yet been cat tested , but she is so nice, I can not see her chasing one.

If you think you could foster Lassie, please get in touch with pawzforthought.org You would have to take her once a week to your local vet to be weighed and fill in her progress chart, she also loves her walks and will need to build up her exercise programme as she looses weight. At the moment she weighs 36.04 kilo and measures 92 centimeters around her tummy. Lassie has been a well loved dog by her previous elderly owners and we know they would be more than grateful to know that she is being well cared for. If having a dog full time is not for you, then fostering is very rewarding.

When John told the Mop ages ago he was a Hippy in his youth the Mop said he wanted to be one, and dressed up.

Now he has read Baby Rocket & Hooties blog about Nelson BC Canada, they have an old law that bans dogs off the side walk, because all the Hippy's had them so really they were banning Hippy's.

So he has loaded his van up and is off to try to get them to change the law, daft dog, he said I will show just peace and love and play my guitar. Then he said to John is it far? what road do I take? is it past where Martha and Bailey live?. DAFT DOG.

The blood test results are back for Lady, she does have an under active thyroid gland, so she is now on tablets to help keep her right.

She was weighed yesterday and is now 38.4 kg, she measures 94cm round.

The good news is Royal Canin are going to sponsor her and Lassie who is in another foster home, we will try to get her weight and measurements today.

This is really good of Royal Canin so we hope to see two thinner happier furbodys in time.

This is Alfie who was adopted by Ann & Chris.

I remember the day we went to meet them, and we went for a walk to see how Asher and Alfie would get on. We need not have worried Ann keeps me up to date, like Martha and many others the perfect home came just when Alfie needed one. Where else would a little dog with a plastic hip get a dog that would let him use them as a seat. Asher does not just let him she seems happy about the whole thing. JUST GREAT.

Don't forget Mango Minster vote bad sport dog today.I think its already fixed anyway, because they are all sly bad sports, and my bribe did not reach judge Ike.

This is my biggest shame, Brenda took this picture of me telling John I did not like him. Well some things don't change.

Every morning I get up I go out and check my pee-mail then I come in and lie by the fire while John drinks his coffee, now look what has happened. Lady is in my space.

I stood and glared at her but as it was her butt she did not see.

I had to lie right on the edge I could not feel any heat, just Lady's butt.

Then we went out in all the sleet to the beach, I was trying to do mid air walking to keep my tootsies warm.

I went and left Lady and Mop Boy to go and leave pee-mail.

When I came back it was time to go, it was freezing so I was pleased.

I thought as soon as I get in I will get in front of the fire first.

After the great rescue last week by firemen, here is one by just one nice guy who just happened to be there.
