This is Patch he is about Twelve his owner is in ill health
and can not take care of him anymore. Patch will be looking for a
new home. He has a very good nature and would be a great companion.
He is fine with all other dogs and was no bother on a walk , I think he likes me
he followed me about.
He said is that really a dog, I said I call him a Mop so Patch was laughing
he said he is like a Mop.
We met another furbody on the field and Patch and Mop boy
went to say hello.
Patch enjoyed his walk.
He has laid by John since we came back and is nice and relaxed.
Brenda is away again so it will be burnt sausage
for our treat I will refuse to eat mine.
I don't like John he will not try my machine to restore his hair.

Hi Bobby, we have as you know been on a blogging break so not up to date with what has been happening.
We would have thought John would be happy for your suggestions re his hair but you know what these humans are like!
They tend to become even more stubborn and resistant to new ideas as they get older.
One of our human brothers bought our dad a thing for removing those hairs up the nose - he bought it for a laugh but what was worse is that he uses it............!
Anyways we should be back blogging as normal mid August!
We think Patch looks a lovely dog but are sad he is looking for a new home at his age........change can be hard for older dogs too...!
Still we know you will all do your best to find just the right home for him where he can be a good companion to someone in his twilight years.......his human must be very sad.
In the meantime we suggest that Patch gets to eat your burnt sausage since you are so ungrateful!
We see you are being very nice again to wee Pip.
