WE WENT TO THE BEACH AGAIN PIP
AND JOCK WERE ALL EXITED.
PIP WAS WARNED ABOUT GOING
IN THE WATER

LITTLE JOCK HAS MADE FURENDS WITH
A GREYHOUND TYPE WHO SAID TO PLAY
CHASE, HE  SAID YOU CHASE ME THEN
WHEN YOU CATCH ME I WILL CHASE YOU.
ANOTHER FURBODY JOINED IN.
I WAS GOING TO JOIN IN BUT THEY WENT
SO FAST.

WELL AS YOU CAN JUST SEE  JOCK
WAS SO FAR BEHIND, HE REALLY DID TRY
THOUGH.

JOCK GAVE UP IN THE END .

WE WALKED ALONG  THE BEACH PIP SAID
COME ON LETS GO IN THE WATER I SAID
YOU DARE , YOU WILL GET INTO TROUBLE
AND ITS COLD..

HE SAID I DON'T CARE, AND IN HE WENT
HE SAID COME ON JOCK. LITTLE JOCK
WAS LIKE SOME HUMANS HE DIPPED
HIS TOOTSIES IN, THEN JUMPED BACK.
I RAN TO TELL JOHN.PIP WAS IN THE
WATER.

JOCK WAS WATCHING BUT HAD NOT GONE IN.

I WENT TO GIVE PIP A GOOD TELLING OFF..
HE JUST LAUGHS AT ME..
WE ALWAYS HAVE TO CARRY A
TOWEL FOR THE DAFT DOG.

I don't understand how this little dog Pip can stand the cold water. To be out deep in it. I get the shivers just thinking about it!

I am glad the rest of you have better sense than Pip!

Kisses,
Stella

Hey Pip, I like to swim in the cold water too! Anytime I see water, I'm in! You can come over to my house and swim with me if you like!

Dippy Pip gets dippier in my book.

He does keep dipping in water and dipping in snow.

Glad you met a nice greyhound-type dog but I'm not surprised Jock couldn't keep up with him.

Glad you has a lovely day.

Love and licks, Winnie

I can't believe Pip decided to go in the water. He's lucky he didn't freeze. I wonder if Jock was disappointed he couldn't keep up with the greyhound.

You have to admire Pip's spirit Bobby - OK he does seem daft but he is game!
Jock did well to try and chase that greyhound - we have tried too and it is hard - have you seen the size of their legs!
Another great day at the beach - we just love to see you there running about.
Perhaps Pip should get one of those doggy bags - you know the kind made of towelling that has a drawcord at the neck.
You just pop them in and pull the string ................not too tight of course!
You then wait for them to dry!
Have a nice weekend.

Yes Bobby, it is true, I am a very good escape artist if I want to chase a squirrel or a deer!
I am still trying to climb trees too!
I have two harnesses - I can get out of them too - you see you may not have noticed but I have a rather large body with little short legs. Also most harnesses give me sores!
The Martingale collar works quite well as long as I am on a short lead!
The humans have just ordered yet another harness for me!!!! This one doesn't have the annoying bit between the legs.
I do so love the thrill of the hunt although these little deer are too fast for me - sometimes they just stop!
I am really not sure what happens then so I just stand barking my little basset head off.......!
I think I wasn't like that with you cos I didn't really know much about being a basset.
Bailey has taught me everything I know................she is very jealous of my Houdini routine.
I am currently banned from the woods at the back of our house as there are too many deer but the last time I ran off I came home all by myself!
You would think the humans would be pleased..........!

That is a very wonderful outdoor fun... I am also thinking of bringing may rabbits in the part tomorrow. Finally, they will be out of their rabbit hutches for this week and I want it to be extra special.

If he's still there, you tell Jock "You GO Jock!" Run like the wind and don't worry about keeping up. Play on that beach and don't worry about getting in the water. Stick with that family and you've got it made! How much fun to see him learn new things already!

Paws crossed. For what, we're not sure.
But we do really like Jock

Question. Does Pip chase balls or sticks in the water?

Just wonderin'
