Both dogs are still active and come alive when a leader is rattled. Peggy needs a dental check which will be done this week. They are both clean in the house and the only slight problem they have is a little overweight and more used to human food than dog food, but this should change very quickly and they will soon be eating dog food with gusto.( It was a daft human who said that

We are sorry to hear this sad news! Peggy and Bess look lovely and must be so confused. Please give them a huge cuddle from us Bobby, and a good licking too.
How lucky they got to eat human food!!! Dog food might take a bit of getting used to - we suffer it as long as there is some chicken or fish mixed in!

That must be so hard for them to have lost their owner. We hope Peggy and Bess find a good home and can stay together.

Oh gosh, I just hate to think of older dogs (like me, I am 14) without a home. They must be so sad without their owner. My paws are crossed that they find a new home soon.
Your pal, Pip

Good luck to the girls. I am so glad you and Pip and John and Brenda are there to look after them for now and make them feel a bit better.
